Many of the summer interns working with me at NAVSEA NSWC-PC had to get new assignments after it became apparent that the security clearance forms that were submitted back in February would not be processed by the time the eight-week program was complete.

I disagree, the guys at http://www.robarm.com have operational versions of a similar rifle, they’ve built them in Utah, last time I checked, Utah was part of the United States.
The rifle was rejected on dubious grounds however.
