I like the predator drones and think they are a very valuable Tool. But along with it, I think we have to develope better ‘Ground assult’ drones. The ‘Mule’ is a nice design. It could be fitted with Hellfire missles for tanks and a small ‘mini gun’ for enemy troops. This would provide better protection for troops in urban environments.

Im not familiar with high-tech technologies but the reason why i notice about drones technologies is when i read a seinen manga where one of the terrorist use a mini version of the drones equip with a 9mm para automatic that can move in all direction, a rotors that can act as blade and a sound canceller so it can sneak silently and attack and people next door or around the corner will not notice something had gone wrong.
In the scene the terrorist use it against civilians. The police squad will not be able to do anything to protect civilians and capture the enemies since they can be many miles away and it did not leave any trace. The drones technologies is also getting cheaper and cheaper and in the near future it can be bought by normal civilians just like how they buy normal guns.

These machines represent the end of conventional war. They can kill by day or by night, undetected by the enemy. Your assalent can drop hell on your head as he reclines in a lazy boy lounge chair.
