The Rev. Pat Story, I don’t know if this story is correct or not, I guess it really doesn’t matter. President Bush has enlisted the help of his Daddy and the last Real President we had Bill Clinton to go as Wall Street and the wealthy who have gotten richer off recent tax cuts for a few bucks for Katrina. To respond to a post in another section about people always wanting Government to do everything. Well sir that’s what Government does it Serves and “Protects” the people, all the people even the poor blacks who didn’t have the resources to eveculate before Katrina hit. Four years ago when 9/11 happened the Government went all out for the victims and their families, there are stll people out there who are not happey with $2.5 Million of tax payers money to cover their loss. The people who found themselves the victims of Katrina deserve nothing less. A side note more Soldier, Marines, Guardsmen, Airmen and Sailors servivg and dieing in Iraq and Afghanistan have come from the Gulf Coast then have been sired by the banker, bond and stock traders whos families have been richly taken care of by the American people since 9/11. When Congress come back in session the President shuold like another Real President FDR didand ask Congress to impose a surcharge on the richist Americans who have benefited the most from his tax cuts to pay for Katrina and the GWOT. The cut should be gross of $100K on ALL income including Capital Gains. This surcharge should last till we rebuild the Gulf Coast and WIN the GWOT. I don’t think they should have given people 2.5 million plus on 9/11 either. If my house burt down tomorrow I would be on my own. If I died my family would be on their own with what I had provided them with. Why when it happens to lots of people should they get something I do not. The govt. should be there to help those that help themselves.

As for President Clinton it was *43 you yelled for help and told him to bring their daddy too. Sorry Noah for ending a sentence with a preposition.
