Good Evening Guys,
As far as I know WP or Willy Peter is used as a white smoke marker by Artillery and Mortar Crews to mark target for air strike. White Smoke marks the enemy position, colored you own. Gun crews hate usinf WP, it’s crossive and the projectals tend to leak.
I can see nothing unusual about it’s use as a marker, I’m sure it was used. As a weapon to attact targets with, I don’t think so, CBU’s are much more effective and you can enter the area right away, just don’t step on or kick a yellow object.
ALLONS,

Alas, they were using it for more than smoke markers according to some of the soldiers there.
Shake n’ bake, baby.
