White Smoke marks the enemy position, colored you own. Gun crews hate usinf WP, it&#039;s crossive and the projectals tend to leak. I can see nothing unusual about it&#039;s use as a marker, I&#039;m sure it was used. As a weapon to attact targets with, I don&#039;t think so, CBU&#039;s are much more effective and you can enter the area right away, just don&#039;t step on or kick a yellow object.
