Cant we produce more F22s?
& export them to UK, France, Germany-NATO forces or NOT.
Or adapt F22 for Navy carrier use.
Nice.
Why mot & save more money.
F22 for Navy carriers with JSF F32.
Air Force F22 can carry more weapons @ longer range?

I used to be proud to be in the Air Force. Lately, though, it’s been tough. Our “leadership” has been severely lacking, our Academy cadets are raping their fellow students and getting away with it, and they play silly marketing games to get money that I believe can be better used by the Army and Marines.

Your argument for the Raptor as primarily an air superiority aircraft makes sense, but it seems at odds with Everest Riccioni’s arguments that, with its greatly increased mass and low fuel fraction, the Raptor isn’t likely to be a very good air superiority fighter either.
Where can I look for a reasonable response to Riccioni’s report?
