		<description>I thought the US had ASAT cabability in the form of a missile launched from an F-15.  Because of the thrust to weight ratio of an F-15 it was able to act as a first stage.  The missile would fragment as it approached the target SAT bathing it in a spray of BB&#039;s.

		<description>heh...yeah, good luck getting more info on ASAT&#039;s.  that&#039;s &#039;no man&#039;s&#039; zone.  i do remember seeing a cool video a while back of an ASAT system being tested out in New Mexico.  it basically hovered in the air using small microjets.  really cool stuff.  basically just a test of space maneuverability.  i went back to find the video a few years later and it had been taken down, and doing a Google search for the video came up with zilch.  :(
