Regarding “America Deceived” It was NEVER available via Amazon or B&N. It was published via “Fast Track” at iUniverse.com (a subsidiary of B&N, btw)
The author choose not to have it released via B&N or Amazon per iUniverse. Political motivation or just a cheapskate? You decide.
If you would like, you can call them yourself and ask. The phone number for iUniverse is 1–800-AUTHORS.
BTW, all politics aside, the book sucks. Mr. 5th of November has posted the same basic post on at least a dozen websites. One has to wonder if he/she isn’t the author pitching a crappy book.

Powell will never be able to run for office after presenting those ‘facts’. Iraq is a distraction while the US gov’t erodes your rights by stealing private lands, conducting illegal wire-taps, banning books like “America Deceived” from Amazon, and starting 2 wars based on lies. Lies, lies and more lies.

Iran gassed the Kurds in 1988
A report prepared by the top CIA official handling the matter says Saddam Hussein was not responsible for the massacre, and indicates that it was the work of Iranians. Further, the Scott inquiry on the role of the British government has gathered evidence that following the massacre the United States in fact armed Saddam Hussein to counter the Iranians chemicals for chemicals.

Iraq chemical weapons used against the Iranians and the Kurds were initially supplied by the US (Sarin) and others. (See ttp://www.kentimmerman.com/krt/PoisonGas.pdf) It has also been revealed that nearly all of these weapons were destroyed in GW I (exposure to which apparently caused Gulf War Syndrome) and that the remainder were destroyed by Iraq itself to prevent them from being found by inspectors.
One of the principle reasons for the supply of these agents was the Iraq-Iran war, in which the US used Iraq to extract revenge against Iran for the hostage crisis, which was instigated by the US failure to extradite Mohammad Reza Pahlavi (the dictator installed in a 1953 CIA coup to prevent the nationalization of Iraq

Luc — Saddam had labs and significant production facilities in the 1980s. Then we beat the snot out of him and the UN pretty well watched him get rid of nearly all of it. What was missing was most probably lost due to accounting errors, such as the 500 chemical shells buried near the Iraq-Iran war. Mustard rounds aren’t all that impressive and the nerve agent degraded to near zero effectiveness.
The “labs” discovered by US forces in 2003 were indeed hydrogen generators. The US Army has a hydrogen generator set on a HMMWV and it looks just like the Iraqi version (but smaller). Iraq had no effective CB warfare capability after 1995. For more reading, see “Where Are the WMDs?“
