Oops — Wrong holiday: Atone, don’t repent.
hmmmm…repentance…an interesting concept. If you believe what the Bible says, human’s lost their ‘perfection’ way back when Adam and Eve committed the first sin. It was taken from them as punishment. So why should I repent for my sins when I am predestined to sin due to being born imperfect? “To err is human” …there’s alot of truth in that statement.
Acts 2:37-38 when the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, what shall we do to be saved? Peter replied, REPENT and be baptized EVERY ONE OF YOU in the NAME OF JESUS for the remission of your sins and you will receive the gift of the HOLYGHOST.
Death-To repent of sins and the filth of this world, forsake your sin and turn from it, being born again, (NICODEMUS) John Chapter 3.
Burial- To be baptized in Jesus Name by being submerged in water (this is what Baptize means, to be submerged) this shows obedience to GOD and his command.
Resurrection- Receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost that is our comforter and gives us power in this evil untoward generation.

The certainty of the Judgment Day. Beloved, the Judgment Day is an appointment set by God himself: “And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: because he hath appointed a day, in which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained
The question relative to the Acts 2:38 command is ,repent of what sin? The only sin that can be repented of to obey this command is Jesus murder. Not repenting of this sin there is no forgiveness of any sin.
