As a teenager my step dad was in charge of basing the mx missle whille working at Norton AFB in S. California as a Lt.Col. in the US Airforce. He used to brag, when he was drunk at night and raging away, about various aspects of his program "I can put a missle through a window in the Kremlin" ect. He spoke at length about using a train based missle launch system that was protected by a "microwave transmitter" that was a pod that popped up on the train if a " bunch of Greenpeace people" discovered the trains whereabouts. He claimed it would disorientate if certain distance perameters were breached, cause auto defecation if protestors drew closer and even death if they got withing a certain distance.
