If youre feeling down, depressed, tired, bored or just all together dreary today, buck upthings could be worse.
A lot worse.
Just consider if you were all those things and next to, nearby, within eyesight, hearing range or even watching one of these on television.
I know its a little on the macabre side of things, but Amazing Filtered Things blog has put together a collage of detonated nuke pictures that are just wild. It almost gives you a headache looking at them that is, of course, unless one of them is of your bosss office or [?INSERT ANOTHER DESERVING TARGET HERE?].
So it really could be worse, right? A lot worse.

For those who like this, the movie “Trinity and Beyond” features video footage of many nuclear tests, and is well put-together and striking.
or you can just go to
http://www.sonicbomb.com/
has an archive of videos of almost every atomic bomb test(U.S and foreign)
I agree with Glenn regarding “Trinity and Beyond”- it’s even narrated by William Shatner. (What a neat little touch.) “Atomic Cafe” and “Nukes in Space” are also interesting, though more specialized.
You know you’ve watched “Trinity and Beyond” too many times when you can name many of the detonations/tests by simply seeing a single picture. Ugh :(
I think the one giving me a headache is the one towards the middle where a whole effing lot of US infantryment are apparently going to go exercise in the detonation area.
Remind me never to volunteer to be part of an experiment on humans, ever.
