Someone forgot to head space and time it. Go-no go. I wonder if they even bothered to screw the barrel in even one turn.….are those guys National Guardsman? We used to call them No Goes, after the gauge.
Funny!…but I’m not laughing too hard…I know whence and where this video came from. Unfortunately, this video is from my particular Army Reserve unit while doing convoy ops in Iraq during year 2004. It seems that while stopped along a MSR to check for tire punctures (which was common), they decided to do a function check on the 50cal. And lo and behold, someone just happened to have a video camera handy to record this moment for posterity. For now, enough said.
This is why our military is the best. Lesser armed forces would be content with merely firing bullets at the enemy — we, on the other hand, will unleash bullets, barrels, receivers, butt stocks, helmets, tires, refrigerators — we will not stop at anything to get the job done.
Big Daddy, that’s uncalled for. The Guard is doing more than their share right now and you would be hard pressed to find a difference in skill level or training between a Guardsman and an Active Duty troop. Bet you don’t have the balls to make that comment to a Guard Sgt. Maj.
There is no “safe” on a 50 cal. The only safe it has is the operator keeping his meet hooks off the trigger. For those that don’t know, there are just as many if not more of the National Guard Soldiers out on those roads, and I bet I could find a few active duty Soldiers videos showing them doing some pretty bone head things. But I am sure Big Daddy was never one of those guys.
Hey guys I hate to say this but dam that was funny as hell.… Sorry but it is true that is one of the reason that we had weapon checks you know to find these little uummummmumummmmummum things BEFORE we need to use the weapons you know.….. So like I said it was funny as hell, but thank god the boys found out about it like they did instead of in combat… RIGHT??? :> Dragon.. :>

I now understand the AFN commercial about checking your headspace and timing BEFORE you fire a weapon.
Oh, how I wish I had a working sound card.…:(

in todays Trivia John Travolta was the villian
He was not fighting terrorists. HE WAS THE TERRORIST
Need to check the Operator Head Space and Timing,
not just the weapons.
The guy didn’t even clear the weapon or put it on safe.
