I’m a freshman in college and I was planning on majoring in Computer Engineering, but unfortunately it doesn’t really seem too interesting to me, especially all the computer programming. I’m considering changing my major to Computer Science except I don’t really know what kind of career a degree in Computer Science will get me. So what is the difference between the two? Please help me out, I don’t really have too much time to ask the advisers at my university, so any help would be appreciated..

The human race is allready quite able to think about 11 dimensional space time, even the concept of infinite dimensionsal space time; as in 11-D string theory and the theory of branes respectively. The concept of time travel is widely discussed among mathematical theoretical physics and even the concept of 2 temporal dimensions is proposed by the great Stephen Hawking. Attempts to indirectly detect or discern the nature and size of the extra-spatial dimensions will be made with the Large Hadron Collider at CERN.
Humans are far from primitive beings. The truth promulgated by all Christian Denominations including the infallible teaching of the Papacy in matters of faith and morals is that all humans are made in the image and likeness of GOD and all humans share a fundamental moral equality before God. We humans all have a spiritual and immortal soul that survives bodily death and this soul is immeadiately and directly created by GOD. The human soul is accordingly radically endowed with free will and is rational in nature.
Moreover, human theology intelligably discusses the existence of pure spirits known as angels. These beings are much more advanced than any bodily ETs because these pure spirits known as angels do not exist in time or space, nor in any dimensional form of such. These beings called angels do not have bodies or brains nor do they need such. They are as far more advanced relative to any ETs than these ETs are advanced relative to wolfs or cattle on the farms of Earth.
As I stated earlier, I do not trust ETs in general although I certainly believe they exist and perhaps are visiting our planet. I think we need to prepare for their eventual interaction with our species and we need to start thinking up weapons systems and defensive tactics should the ETs prove aggressive.
It is a shame that we as contempory pop-culture American society put more hope in the existence of ETs instead of the pure spirits called angels of which there are nine levels or choirs, perhaps even more, and also in faith in the intercession of the souls of the deceased who are in Heavan, Purgatory and Limbo if Limbo exists.
Better yet is to put ones Faith in the Saving and Unique person and power of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Intercession of His human mother Mary, the Queen of the Cosmos according to the Apparitions allegdedly occuring in the former Yugoslavian town of Medjugorie. At Fatima, an apparition officially appoved by the Catholic Church, Mary stated that she is the Queen of the Universe.
Do ETs exist? They most certainly do and I do not trust any of them. Trust has to be earned and I do not trust any one who does not respect and honor their mother, and that includes their spiritual mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary. The ETs phenomenon if anything is leading people away from Christ, the belief in the Singularly unique Queen Ship of Mary and Her as Mediatrix of all Graces, and the fundamental dignity of all human life as made in the image and likeness of God, and who has not just a physical body and primitive parts of a brain such as the limbic system and hypothalimus, but also a higly evolved frontal lobe, and much more, a spiritual and immortal soul that is eternal, not spatial or temporal, but eternal.
Perhaps when humans cease being told that they are primitive or worthless, then maybe they will feel more like living the life of supernatural sanctifying grace like they were meant to and are called by name by God to do such. Quite frankly, I think the whole UFO/ET phenomenon is brain washing the human race and even the Catholic Church is starting to fall victim to it.

Many humans, long ago, believed and INSISTED the world was flat. Understanding the world is round is many times simpler than grasping the concept of extraterrestials that are far more advanced than us humans who have travelled to our planet from other planets, which is like a zoo to them. The question should not be "Do they exist?" or "Are they ETs?"; the question should be at the moment when seeing them "Are they going to hurt us?" and in the long run, "What can we do to advance ourselves to an inter-planetary species?" One possible theory to why the Sectoids (one given name for them, asides "The Grays") are visiting us is because they are watching us to see if we are advancing fast enough before our world is (self-)annihilated or if we'll annihilate ourselves due primitive self-conflicts between us humans. And the concept of aliens is far more simpler than the concept of multi-dimentional space-time, which is only 4 vectors out of the 11 dimensions out there... 8-o Oh, and here's another wrench to make a common human go bonkers or to stop reading here... As Albert Eintsein says, it's not possible to travel time (aka jump to the past or the future), YET it IS possible to jump back to the past or go to the future! Both statements are true. Don't believe in aliens visiting us? Then don't even bother going into temporal science. (the subject doesn't even exist at this present time) In time, we'll evolve as humans through better education. As adults, it is difficult to grasp far-reaching concepts that were never taught when young. It's why we should never mock the cave-man, because how would it feel if the future mocks at you? It's a sad fact that humans still are far from knowing everything, but we're evolving and learning. Now go grab a beer! :) (if you're at the right age and in the right place, at the right time)

The Rev. Jose Gabriel Funes, the Jesuit director of the Vatican Observatory, said the vastness of the universe means it is possible there could be other forms of life outside Earth, even intelligent ones.
“How can we rule out that life may have developed elsewhere?” Funes said. “Just as we consider earthly creatures as ‘a brother,’ and ‘sister,’ why should we not talk about an ‘extraterrestrial brother’ It would still be part of creation.“
In the interview by the Vatican newspaper L’Osservatore Romano, Funes said that such a notion ‘doesn’t contradict our faith’ because aliens would still be God’s creatures.
The interview, headlined “The extraterrestrial is my brother,” covered a variety of topics including the relationship between the Roman Catholic Church and science. Funes said science does not contradict religion, touching on a theme of Pope Benedict XVI, who has made exploring the relationship between faith and reason a key aspect of his papacy.
The Bible “is not a science book,” Funes said, adding that he believes the Big Bang theory is the most ‘reasonable’ explanation for the creation of the universe.

having looked at this subject for about 40 of my 43 years, it is so obvious that real UFO’s do come into earth airspace, and while I am pretty certain a large part of the problem is the danger some do pose, as well as indifference, this is a wordlwide phenomena and lets seperate it from black projects that surely do need their secrecy..
truth will always be the best IMHO, and since there was a Catholic taking a soapbox op. on here, I’ll comment, what could be worse than THAT PLAGUE
geez I hope aliems are introducing prions into our culture…humanity as it stands deserves to be devoured, and yes, that includes me.…IDIOTS

Ok here's what I think about the whole thing. Now if there are UFO's why can't the United States citizens know? I understand that may be mayhem, but last time I knew we where paying taxes, and on that they pay the military so wouldn't that mean the military works for us in a way? They are here to protect us but how can they protect us if we are blinded by current events? Do we want the whole independence things to happen? Having people run around with there heads cut off. That may happen if they told us the truth but at least we would have time to come down to reality. And then be aware of what's going on. We have no where to run if there are ET's out there. So why not face facts? And if there isn't an aircraft then why to so many clam to see one? Are you going to say that whole state is crazy? And if they are flares then why that same pattern, and if so then couldn't they at least say " the things that are in the air are not UFO's they are flares"? the are still under opps. And if they can predict that before shooting of flares in advance then the people would have no further reason to believe that these lights are UFO's. I don't know but why does the government want us to be blind? Shouldn't we enter this thing with eyes wide open, they are?

but being really stupid is not one.
Special Opps, Black Projects, new Secret
devices, et al: Why would our government (or
ANY government) have a Super Secret devise
and fly it directly over a city or populated
area? Remember the Pheonix Lights, the 1952
UFO’s over Washington D.C., etc. etc. ad nauseum.
In each case HUNDREDS of people saw them. In the 1952 case fighters were scrambled. Why scramble
fighters to intercept one of “our” machines?
If these objects are secret then fly them over an
ocean, over a desert, the south pole.
