I have thought for a long time that the airforce has lost it’s way. They don’t understand what it takes to win wars, they just want kewl bits of hardware, multi-billion dollar planes, etc. Then what they do have the Marines and Army have to ask them to us when they need it. Sure the airforce is great at getting air supriority but that seems to be about it. I am almost 100% sure that the Marines and Navy could take care of getting air supriority if they just gave them the money for it. Give the UAVs to the Navy, Marines and Army and the airforce pretty much becomes useless. Million Dollar fighter jocks that have 20 layers of red tape between them and the ground pounders is almost useless now. The Army and Marines will do the same job with robots and Enlisted personal, faster, cheaper and with less red tape when it comes to the guys that count.
