There's no such thing as an LDS ship in the US Navy or any navy unless you're talking about Jared's barge and Lehi's ship in the LDS / Mormon Navy as recorded in the Book of Mormon. perhaps you meant LSD.

I also bet this would work very well as an ASW platform. Small silhouette, can be launched from very small ships, add a sonobuoy launch system that can transmit the data to the ship and u got a nice way to track subs quickly. Bet you could even attack a Magnetic Anomaly Detector on it.
This could have so many uses, especially if has a modular paylopad capability.

I wonder how good this platform could work in areas like the keys and the florida straits for drug interdiction missions or possibly to be used in rescue missions at sea, especially in cases where immediate supplies like first aid kits until a cutter or another ship arrives on scene.<br

Must have max deployment for US Fleet.
Test off So CA & near Mexican border.
Use LPDs, LSDs, LHDs as test ships too.

Should deploy this off ALL frigates & DDs alone & CGs & USCG cutters.<br

Try these.
FYI, globalsecurity.org is woefully out of date for just about everything.

<a
