		<description>Not to go off too much of a tangent, but the hiring issue in the defense biz is not limited to just buyers on the customer side, the baby boomer generation of engineers are beginning to retire and there is a pretty substantial gap between the available qualified workforce and the upcoming demand.

		<description>Ever tried to hire someone?  Permission and money are the easy parts.  There probably aren&#039;t enough people in the US with the right skill set/experience to fill these jobs.
If the DoD cut it&#039;s acquisition budget in half, doubling the amount of management and oversight on each project, it might find that it gets nearly the same value out in the end.
