I hope this gun’s standard issue when I join. :)

Good luck with that. Pararescue is a great job, if you are mentally strong enough. If you don’t make it, I’ll be seeing you soon. All the AFSF trainees that wash out end up in AMMO.

Can we please ever see a gun or tactical school demonstration where the shooter does not weigh 380 lbs?

WJS, this is not a tactical school. That individual was a part of a Special Forces group due to leave for overseas soon. He might be overweight but my guess is he can shoot better than you.

You don’t need to be heavy to effectively use a 7.62 SCAR. It looks a lot easier to control and carry than the M-14 of my understanding and with the swap out barrels, it’s a winner.

Hmmm, it seems to have a lot of kick. Then again it is a 7.62. I wonder if the barrel changing ability diminishes accuracy. Since it is a locked in rather than a solid barrel. I guess we will see, but lighter and more power is always better!

So far as the kick goes, that was the 5.56 x 45 Mk16.
So far as the 380 lbs pile of chewed bubblegum goes, hey, what can I say. There’s strong and then there’s ‘Army Strong’.
Still, I hope we get the Mk17s, not a fan of 5.56 for stopping anything bigger than a large rabbit. Character flaw, I guess.…..

I would prefer the Masada from MagPul in 6.8 cal.

Didn’t say it was a “tactical school”. I simply made mention of the fact that every time I see a video of someone testing a weapon or a group of people shooting they seem to have an “overabundance of mass”. Hey if that guy is Special Forces and can get the job done who cares. I just never see slim people firing weapons.
As for my shooting ability. Have you ever seen me shoot? And who evacuated their bladder in your Cheerios?

I would also prefer the Magpul Masada (Bushmaster ACR). It’s low recoiled, and can hold 5.56x45 NATO and 7.26x39.
