So, do you know if they are getting away from the COIL and maybe going with a laser diode pump array? With that they would not be limited in the number of shots per flight, but limited only by flight time.

You did just fine, Ward!! Really!! I mean, this is LIVE TV with people just staring at your face, you did great.
Pretty interesting stuff they have going on there with the lasers, let’s hope the results are more up-to-expectations than all that Star Wars stuff.

did anyone notice the laser not coming off the ball turret in the first picture they flashed? I don’t have audio on the work comp, so correct me if they mentioned that

I was wondering about that laser beam off the top of the plane and not the ball turret as well. A laser sight perhaps?
