According to the Bible, the land was given to Israel. It is the Promised land. Promised to Israel by God.
Therein lies the problem. The militant Islamists believe that they were given the promised land, not Israel. And if Israel exists, on that area of land, then what the Arabs believe isn’t true.
Therefore, they must remove Israel to prove that they are the children of the promise. That is why giving chunks of Israel to the Palestinians will never bring peace. They want the whole land. Also, creating a Palestinian state also will not bring peace. Again, the Islamists want the whole land.
The reason why militant Islamists attack America and Israel is that both Jews and Christians believe that the Promised land belongs to Israel. Therefore, they believe that America and Israel must convert to Islam, or be killed in Jihad.

Arabs have occupied Israeli land for thousands of years.
When Israel was “reborn” as a nation in 1948, the original borders for Israel were closer to the ancient borders assigned to Israel. The Arab nations (OPEC) whined and because of oil, the UN caved and gave Israel only a fraction of the land it should occupy.
The whole story is funny. Arabs and Jews are related. Abraham had two sons, Isaac and Ishmael. The Arabs come from Ishmael’s line and Jews from Isaac. Isaac was Abrahams son through his wife Sara, and Ishmael was from a handmaiden of Sara’s. Arabs claim that it is the other way around.
Talk about a family feud, this one goes back generations…
