Am I the only one who thinks this is the kind of escalation that can only have negative consequences? Once this technology exists there will be no such thing as privacy. I hope whoever designs the first practical robot like this (and all of you who are rooting for this kind of technology) has a beautiful daughter and one day to his horror he realizes that every nerd, loser, a pathetic techy in the country has a little robot in her bedroom watching her every move. Now that’ll be divine justice.
