fun video, but I would think that their conclusions are no brainers.
Long gun in building bad, SMG in building good
SMG outdoors bad, Long gun outdoors good
ya don’t say!

Like I said, they should have called this show “Common Sense 101″.
They should also teach the hosts to look at camera cues so they face the camera when speaking.

Gotta love the German engineering though. The MP40 and the Stg44 are just impressive weapons.
Thank goodness that Hitler hated the Stg44. I wonder how things would have been different if they had used it instead of the k98…

Ive fired the MP40 subgun in :gunstorelasvegas.com & it was smooth firing & nil recoil, BUT gun had to get serviced constantly pre post firing.
Nice work, Gun tends to Jam?

Kalashnikov loved the STG44, too, obviously. ;)
The FG-42 was an impressive weapon for its time, as well.
BTW, the MP-40 was a reworked MP-38. The MP-38 used too many machined parts so they redesigned it as the MP-40 to use almost all stamped metal parts.
Grandma likes it :o)

So basically we get to see 2 old guys playing with guns at a firing range while stating the “sky is blue”-level obvious. ANYONE could have done this. Anyone with a shred of common sense could have done the same.

The ‘real’ impact at Stalingrad was not from these popguns, it was from the 5,000 Soviet artillery pieces of General Voronov, aka Stalin’s ‘High Priest of the Cannon’.
They were not quite hubcap-to-hubcap like the legend says, but averaged three to four hundred to a mile dug in along the Volga and the Don. The barrage started in late November. General Voronov was quoted as saying “There are only two salvations from this hurricane of fire

everyone stop complaining. at least its on t.v. and not some hezbollah like obama fest (i.e. cnn, msnbc etc.) im glas to get watch any gun being fired by professionals on t.v. and not the same ole prime time hold my glock sideways gangbanger crap. its a natural balance to the way liberals portray guns on a daily basis.

Neat, but agree that it’s a “sky is blue” show for the informed. How did the weapons stack up vs. the competition? Also, I didn’t realize Andy Richter could shoot…

Not to worry, the Russians (as most other countries) had similar bolt-action>sub-machine arrangements (FIX BAYONETS!). Though the Germans did have the MG34/42 that would own the streets.
