This saves paper, printing, and distribution costs and make these manuals available to more members of the military. Also it will make revisions easier to get out to the users. Better informed officers, NCO's and Soldier, Marines Sailors, and Airmen make for a more informed military. The down side to the brass here is that WIKI will also incubate democracy among the ranks. To some of the old moss backs this is a dangerous thing, soldiers being critical of the tactical decisions of the chain of command and reviewing their equipment, that could lead to a 21st, century Military, OMG!
