But, as the saying goes, &quot;He may be an SOB, but (for now, at least), he is our SOB.&quot; However, it is my understanding that Gen. McChrystal and Karzai have managed to forge a close bond with each other, which is encouraging. Gen. Barno appears to have it right. Since serving at West Point (enlisted), I&#039;ve always been extremely proud and honored by the intelligence, candor, and pragmatism of our senior Officers Corps. I feel the upcoming Kandahar campaign will determine which direction to go. Anyone headed there?
