Here’s yet another great example of Libyan rebels DIY weaponry. This video shows “The Patriots of Misratah” firing what might be a UB-32 rocket launcher likely (salvaged from a Libyan air force helicopter) in the general direction of what we hope are Gadhafi’s forces. Enjoy.

I love how they waste their ammo like its a damn collection of sparklers and fireworks.
I just find it mind blowing that they aren’t ( really) using these to the full extent they could be used to. Rebels…

"Hay get off the road you idiots!"
Did yall see the rag tag collection of vehicles falling in behind at the end? lol!
Well, not exactly a desirable rate of fire or effective employment, but hey – at least they're aiming in the right direction (i hope)
"….in the general direction of what we hope are Gadhafi’s forces."
An old joke, modified for the present scenario:
Rebel: "Sir, we have defeated enemy forces in the north part of the city"
Rebel commander: "Very good. Anything else?"
Rebel: "Yes, sir. We have also defeated enemy forces in the east and south parts of the city"
Rebel commander: "Even better. Is that all?"
Rebel" No, sir. We have also attacked and defeated enemy forces in the west part of the city"
Rebel commander, frowning: "What do you mean? There are no enemy forces in the west part of the city".
Rebel: "Uhm…..there are now".
That aside, if these people are indeed fighting for freedom (and not for another rabid theocracy), I wish them the best of luck.

Both sides are rabbles with guns, and like all rabbles with guns, when they're around, it's bad news. Rapes, murder, looting and just general destruction will certainly be the order of the day.
NATO can try to pretend it's all OK, and keep it clean for local consumption by dropping ordinance from 3000 metres up, but anyone who has been in that kind of environment will tell you how it gets when the irregulars take over.
Oddly enough, the Soviet Union had something similar that they apparently used in Afghanistan. http://img828.imageshack.us/img828/6755/uralx.jpg
